Ali Torrence, PT, DPT, CIDN

Ali graduated with a doctorate in physical therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in January 2022. Before attending MGH IHP, she attended University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI and graduated with a B.S. in Movement Science (Go Blue!). As a physical therapist, she has also worked in the outpatient hospital environment in Gloucester, MA. Her passion is in orthopedics, where she emphasizes her treatment around the patient’s movement as a whole system, focusing on impaired biomechanics and making every treatment unique to the patient. She is also certified in integrative dry needling. She loves to use dry needling for pt’s with chronic or long-standing pain and pt’s with headaches/neck pain, TMJ, tendinopathy and so much more. She has also been a certified personal trainer since 2017 and loves being creative with her exercises for her pt’s. In her free time, she rides horses, is a certified equine massage therapist and teaches group fitness cycle classes in Charlestown, MA.
