Dr. Marco Volpe, PT, DPT, OCS

Physical Therapist

Marco Volpe, founder and owner of Downtown Physical Therapy, has been a practicing Physical Therapist for 28 years and continuously stays updated with the latest in the field through his involvement in the APTA. Marco has been a Massachusetts Delegate in the organization for over 10 years and recently joined the Board of Industrial Medicine in Massachusetts. He is a firm believer in patient-centered therapy and creating an individual wellness plan for each individual. After receiving his Masters in Physical Therapy from Boston University, Marco recently went back to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2006. Marco is fluent in Italian and specializes in TMJ, neck and back problems.

Kevin Chiu, PT, MS, OCS

Physical Therapist

Kevin Chiu graduated from the National Cheng-Kong  University in Taiwan in 1994. After working at the rehab department of a local acute care hospital, Kevin came to Boston to obtain his Master’s degree at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. He did his advanced clinical training in spinal dysfunction and treatment and completed his thesis on chronic back pain. Kevin is fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese and specializes in spinal problems.

Matthew LeBlanc, BA, LMT

Massage Therapist

Matthew LeBlanc became a massage therapist in 2004 after graduating from the Finger Lakes School of Massage. He has become familiar with all areas of massage treatment from his work in a wide range of settings, including the Boston Sports Club in Franklin. Matthew owns White Swan Bodyworks, a business specifically for massage.

Carolyn Hintlian, MPH, MA, LDN, RD

Clinical Nutritionist

Carolyn Hintlian has worked as a clinical nutritionist since 1978. She is most experienced in the area of cardiovascular nutrition, including control of risk factors such as high cholesterol, hypertension and obesity. In 2004 she expanded her services by opening a private nutrition practice, Boston Nutrition, in Downtown Boston.
